Subcontractor Invoices and Change Orders

In April 2010, the District, through the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED) signed a contract whereby Vision McMillan Partners, LLC (VMP) would complete a series of Development Management Services. Collectively, these contracting services would facilitate the movement through the District review process, namely the Historic Preservation Review Board (HPRB) and Zoning Commission Planned Unit Development (PUD) application approval steps.

To fulfill these duties, VMP hired a series of subcontractors to perform various activities (e.g. structural engineering, civic engineering). The following document captures, at a high level, the break down for those subcontractor costs from fiscal year 2010 through 2014. These estimates are based on invoices submitted to DMPED by VMP through often quarterly draws against the contract. Fiscal year 2010 and 2011 estimates were only provided at a high level.

In addition to the base contract signed between the District and VMP, a number of change orders were issued to increase the level of funding committed by the city. Each of these change orders was requested, and subsequently approved, in order to perform a specific task or provide an unforeseen service. Each of the filed change orders can be found here (currently missing four such change orders).
